Talk:Bonito
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Image
What is on the image, Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg, is Euthynnus pelamys, but the scientific name had changed to Katsuwonus pelamis. First, genus names both are not Sarda as the article describes. Second, the Japanese article ja:カツオ claims that the English name for Katsuwonus pelamis is "skipjack tuna". And the description within the image is "bonito" indeed.
We should research that the term "bonito" covers how many kinds of fish, and fix the article accordingly.

[edit] Disambiguation. Brasillian places
There's a few different places in Brasil called 'Bonito'. I linked one at the top there (which I had been searching for), however I notice on the portuguese wikipedia 'Bonito' is a full on disambiguation page : http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonito I dont know the exact disambiguation procedure, but I guess there should be a Bonito (disambiguation) page here. -- Harry Wood 11:12, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
