It snowed heavily in the low elevations in Newbury Park in March 1989. It also snowed on the summit of Boney in March 2006.LorenzoB 00:52, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Two Boney Mountains

Okay, I've done a little research and sorted out what happened here. This page was a description of Boney Mountain, a ridge in Point Mugu State Park seen from the 101 freeway. But it was named and linked to as Boney Peak, a nearby peak in the Santa Monica Mountains NRA. Finding it through the link from Santa Monica Mountains, I added the photo and stats for Boney Peak.

I'll rename this article to Boney Mountain, and remove applicable bits to a separate Boney Peak article. --Justin 18:32, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
