[edit] Notation

What does \langle \; \rangle mean in this context? And is \mathcal{P} the power set? What is ν? Crasshopper (talk) 17:21, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

I have modified the notation slightly, please let me know if this still does not help. The answers in brief: \langle \; \rangle here indicates merely a pair/couple. I would normally use plain parentheses, but the present formulation is not confusing. \mathcal{P} is indeed the power set, I have made this explicit with the new notation. Finally ν should simply be v, the value function.Koczy (talk) 13:00, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
