Based within the friendly cheshire villiage of Tattenhall, The Boneyard was established in 1996 as a non profit organisation. Bolesworth estate and parents of young skaters gave the skatepark the inital boost. The park is used by skates and riders of all ages and skills. The park hosts many large wooden ramps with a grind rail on the top which are used to perform tricks using either a skateboard, BMX or inline skates

Among the claims to fame of the skatepark, Ali Whitton and Owain Clegg were some of the parks earliest members who have gone on to achieve awards at the X Games in 2001 and the King of Concrete in 2000 respectively.

The skatepark is fully supervised by first aid qualified staff and always has a great atmosphere, The Skatepark is also covered by CCTV which allows the staff to constantly monitor the Skatepark. The Skatepark accommodates inline skaters, skateboards and BMX bikes, the staff attempt to make all visitors to the park welcome.
