Bondurant Pharmacy (Lexington)

The Bondurant Pharmacy is a drug store built in 1975 in the shape of a giant mortar and pestle. It is located on Village Drive near Versailles Road in Lexington, Kentucky.

The building is approximately thirty feet tall, but the pestle projects another ten feet above the building. It is approximately thirty-two feet in diameter. It has two drive-thru windows, along with parking spaces for customers that want to walk into the store. The second floor was initially designed as an apartment for the pharmacist.
