The song describes the life of a "hustler" as told by G-Unit. 50 Cent relates the life of a hustler and Young Buck does the same, also illustrating the dangers of being a hustler. Tony Yayo references many of the drugs associated with being a hustler and also describes what life is like as a drug dealer. Some of the drug references include: cocaine, heroin, weed, LSD, ecstasy, and other drugs. This is a song about life in the ghetto and being a dealer.

When Tony Yayo's verse starts, he raps to the rhythm of the lullaby Hush Little Baby.
