which has already been banned by MTV
Is a company refusing to show a video really the same as banning? This implies to me some sort of external interference... mtffm 19:49, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- The MTV hve "banned" it from being shown. Plus the definition of banned shows no external influence is required. It is simply their opinion that the video is too political and not in keeping with the general entertainment theme of their station. Chappy84 19:54, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- Not banned by MTV, it's no. 7 on the MTV Galaxy charts [1]. Perhaps its the American version that's not showing it? American magazines for example are frequently watered down for their home audience compared to the international versions. If anyone knows more, specify this in the text, and add a citation. - It has been banned, or at-least was, if they have changed their mind then they have changed their mind but it was originally banned. --Chappy84 20:13, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- You can't just say so, you need to find a citation! Greenman 22:13, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- I remember seeing it on TV a few weeks ago, but if you want a source, try any of the 23,400 results Google turns up. Or you could just try here, the source already quoted on the page. --Chappy84 22:31, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- Regarding the various Google results: this information seems to exist almost entirely within the blogosphere. Has MTV or any journalistic outlet actually stated it, or is this just Chinese whispers propogating through Digg? –Unint 22:25, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
