Bomp! Records is an American indie label, featuring punk, pop, powerpop, garage rock, new wave, old school rock, neo-psychedelia and much more. Since 1974 Bomp! has included such artists as The Modern Lovers, Iggy & The Stooges, Stiv Bators & The Dead Boys, 20/20, Shoes, Devo, The Romantics, DMZ, The Zeros, The Weirdos, Spacemen 3, The Germs, Jeff Dahl, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Warlocks, Black Lips, Les Hell on Heels, The Telescopes, The Coffin Lids, and too many more to mention. On Tuesday, October 19th, 2004 Bomp records' founder, Greg Shaw, died from heart failure at the age of 55. Bomp! Records is currently headed by his ex-wife and life long partner Suzy Shaw. In 2007 Ammo Books published Bomp: Saving The World One Record At A Time (by Suzy Shaw and Mick Farren).
