Bommalata (A Belly Full of Dreams) is a Telugu children's film, directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, son of veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao.This film won the Best Film in Telugu at the 53rd National Awards.[1].Sai Kumar won the National Award for the Best Child Artist for the same film.

This story is about a boy who has a burning desire of going to school. This character (enacted by Sai Kumar) is a really heart-touching character. He did his best when it came to how he felt with his first friendship, how desperate is he to study, how daring he is, and last but not the least, his honesty.

The award for the Best child Artiste of 2005 is given to Sai Kumar for the – a bellyful of dreams for his haunting performance as a child who realises his burning desire to access school education.
