Bombsuit

A bombsuit is a heavy suit of armor designed to withstand the force released from a bomb.

Unlike bullets, which concentrate their force over a small area, a bomb's force is spread over a wide area and moves on outward. Because of this, the entire body must be protected.

Being a suit designed to withstand explosive force, it is very heavy, bulky, and difficult to maneuver in. These drawbacks make it unsuitable for actual combat.
