[edit] Story

Bomberman is a special agent, hired by "The Justice Department" to retrieve some stolen scientific data. It was later discovered that Professor Xeal and "The Lords of the Galaxy" were involved in the loss of this data, and so Bomberman begins his latest journey.

[edit] Multiplayer

Rising Star's micro site for the game states that Bomberman Story DS can utilize the Nintendo WiFi Connection for up to 8 players, although in the game WiFi is only for up to 4 players, as with Bomberman Land Touch!.

The site also states that Bomberman Story DS players can connect with Bomberman Land Touch!, however this is probably a mistake. Bomberman Story DS cannot connect with Bomberman Land Touch!, but with its sequel, Bomberman Land Touch! 2 with the game's "Battle Pack 2" feature. The instruction manual for the game details that any Bomberman game with the "Bomberman Battle Pack 2" logo can connect together.

[edit] Characters

Cheerful White

Cheerful White (usually known as Bomberman, White Bomber, or Shirobon) has been called in by Professor Ein to assist The Justice Department with retrieval of important stolen data. Cheerful White is a well known hero who will always do what he can to save the Galaxy.

Professor Ein

A great scientist, and one of the head researchers for The Justice Department. He is usually the one who gives Cheerful White his missions, and is the only character in the game (aside from Cheerful White) to appear before in a Bomberman game.
