Bombarral

Bombarral (pron. IPA[bõbɐ'ʁaɫ]) is a Portuguese town in the subregion Oeste and district of Leiria, located in central Portugal. It has an average population of around 5,500 people.

It is the seat of the municipality of Bombarral, with an area of 90.44 km² and 13,325 inhabitants (2001 figures), further divided into five parishes or freguesias. It is bordered by Óbidos to the north, Caldas da Rainha to the northeast, Cadaval to the southeast, and Lourinhã to the southwest.
