[edit] Northwestern Project

In editing Northwestern-related wiki pages, I noticed that you frequently contribute to Northwestern topics. I'm currently in the process of trying to update and enhance Northwestern's Wiki presence, but it is a lot of work. Northwestern needs a huge overhaull and it would be great if we could maybe work together on this. I was thinking about even starting a WikiProject on Northwestern. Please take a look at Duke University, Cornell University, and basically any other peer institution to Northwestern and see how little we have. Let me know what you think. Thanks for your help.

[edit] Wildside

Thanks for correcting the name of the Northwestern student section! Be my guest and feel free to expand and maintain the Wildside entry, as you obviously have more knowledge about it than I. My goal was just to get the ball rolling then let others take over. Thanks again and good luck! --BroadSt Bully 15:59, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nice job with the template!

Thanks a lot. It looks really nice. LuMas 03:58, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Great Template

I was thinking of making one, and I am very pleased you decided to do one. I think Duke's template is very good. I think I am going to make a graphic for Northwestern made out of the NU seal (Like Duke did) to maybe enhance the professionalism. Random question: Do you know how to add coordinates? The best wiki pages have them, and I can't figure out how to do it. Thanks, and great work on the template again. Robms927 16:01, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] DYK!

Updated DYK query On 9 January 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Kenny Leon, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

Thanks for your contributions! Nishkid64 22:43, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Punctuation

Wikipedia style is to leave end-of-sentence punctuation outside of quote marks to avoid suggesting that the punctuation is part of the actual quoted material. --EEMeltonIV 04:12, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Chicago Meetup

I hope the time and place for the Chicago Meetup are convenient. Your reply would be appreciated.

[edit] Wikimania in Atlanta!

Hi! I noticed your involvement on U.S. South-related articles, categories and WikiProjects, and I wanted to let you know about a bid we're formulating to get next year's Wikimania held in Atlanta! If you would like to help, be sure to sign your name to the "In Atlanta" section of the Southeast team portion of the bid if you're in town, or to the "Outside Atlanta" section if you still want to help but don't live in the city or the suburbs. If you would like to contribute more, please write on my talk page, the talk page of the bid, or join us at the #wikimania-atlanta IRC chat on freenode.org. Have a great day!

P.S. While this is a template for maximum efficiency, I would appreciate a note on my talk page so I know you got the message, and what you think. This is time-sensitive, so your urgent cooperation is appreciated. :) Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 08:41, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
