I made sweeping changes to this page, the main ones being:

  • cut out all references to places outside of Boldmere,
  • replaced description of roads with grid reference,
  • cut out exhaustive list of shopping facilities which may become out-of-date

[edit] geographical facts

population of boldmere? percentage male:female? percentage adult:children etc?

This'll be near impossible. The census was taken in designated areas such as wards, constituencies and cities. Boldmere is not exactly one of these so the 2001 census would not have recorded results for the area of Boldmere alone, only for the BCC ward it is located in. [edit] 'Little Me'?

Can anyone confirm this as a term in actual use and not just made up by a random user? I've lived in Boldmere for over 20 years (since early childhood) and this is the FIRST time I've seen/heard mention of it. Ever. Admittedly I live in the northern area of the town, so it could be a regional thing almost... but it's only a couple of miles across! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.46.180.56 (talk) 20:50, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
