Bolkly

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bolkly (aka Bulkeley; Bokla is more commonly used by Alexandrians: Arabic: بٌكلى), is a neighbourhood in Alexandria, Egypt. In speech, the name has been modified over generations into a more pronounceable one for the local tongue: "Bokla". Some people still, however, pronounce it as it is written: "Bolkly".
