Boliden is a small community within Skellefteå Municipality in Sweden. The community lies 28,5 kilometers from Skellefteå City and is home to 1,556 inhabitants (2003).
This is where Boliden AB was founded in early 20th century after the findings in the mine that naturally got called the Boliden mine.
