[edit] Grand Marquis sales numbers
Hi, I saw that you reverted the Grand Marquis page back to where it was before I edited it. I deleted those sales numbers because there is no evidence to prove them. In fact, this is a Wikipedia policy, so don't revert the page again until evidence for the numbers has been found. --ApolloBoy 04:46, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] About you reverting my "Americanisation"s...
I should show you this, it'll explain why I keep changing "petrol" to "gasoline"... --ApolloBoy 04:17, 30 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] VW Type 2
Please do not move article content about by cut-and-paste; this separates the content from the history, and causes problems for us with respect to the GNU Free Documentation License. I have corrected the problem, but please use the move feature in the future. Rob Church Talk 15:39, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Help with Translation!?
Can you help translate this for me to swedish? Many thanks in advance!
Albania is also rich in rivers and streams with significant hydroelectric potential. These have been exploited quite effectively, making the country an energy exporter. A number of huge hydroelectric power plants have been built, mainly on the Drin River, and more than half of the country's arable land is irrigated, largely from the artificial reservoirs created upstream of the dams.

[edit] GM Minivans
Hi, I was wondering if you would support me in the discussion to keep the GM minivans separate, rather than merge them with the Chevrolet Lumina APV and Chevrolet Venture articles. I'd really appreciate your help ans support. -Bavaria 17:36, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- Usually I don't like mergeing articles about different cars. But I don't know anything about GM vans, so I guess you'll have to find help from someone else. --Boivie 22:14, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Important WikiProject Automobiles Discussion
Hello! As a Wikipedia:WikiProject Automobiles member, I just thought you might want to input your opinions on an important discussion we're currently having about whether articles regarding similar vehicles should be merged into one or split by brand. If you would like to comment or read further, please see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Automobiles#Articles of Similar Vehicles. Thank you in advance for your thoughts and feedback. [edit] Swedish administrative reorganization in store?
Hello Boivie! Would you happen to have any information on or links to the prospects of replacing the Swedish counties with larger regions? If executed, such plans would be on par with recent development in Finland, England and Scotland, upcoming developments in Denmark, and ongoing debates in Norway. I am asking you since it was brought to my attention that you were the one who added that section to the article (which I have subsequently adjusted and tweaked a bit). [edit] Dablinks
I reverted your edits to the disambiguation link at Scandinavia. Please avoid trying to make it an extension of the ongoing dispute of wording and definition. Its function is to aid navigation, not to to define the article. That's what the article itself is for.

[edit] Userbox Chevy
Why exactly did you change the image on Template:User_Chevy?
[edit] Lincoln Town Car selected article
Hello, how come the "Car Portal Selected Article" template was removed from the Lincoln Town Car discussion page. Why is the TC article not anymore selected? Are there any impovements I should make to the article or is this just a normal rotation? Please let me know. Also, If the selected articles are rotated, I would like to create a category and template for former car portal selected articles. Thank you. Best Regards, Signaturebrendel 01:21, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Anniversaries
I would prefer to leave the empty anniversary articles empty than to just put null content there. If they're empty, it makes it easier to see which ones need content by glancing at Portal:Cars/Anniversaries. --SFoskett 15:06, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
- I'd say that we should make sure there is content in all the anniversaries then. I've finished all of June, so the point is null for now. I'll try to keep a few days ahead of you on this and we'll both be happy. --SFoskett 21:52, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Need your help on Nollning
Would you be able to comment on this for me? I am considering proposing it for deletion. I looked through the sv:Nollning article, and despite my very limited knowledge of Swedish I was able to see that it's unsourced and tagged as "fluff", and that all it does is chronicle customs at individual Swedish universities, which are of course individually NN. No treatment is given to Nollning as a social phenomenon, cf. Hazing, so I am wondering whether this article will never have substance and should be prodded. Thanks and regards, - CrazyRussian talk/contribs/email 01:32, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikiproject Automobiles Notification
Hi Boivie, you were on the list of members at WikiProject Automobiles and we are introducing a new way of listing members, as the old list was becoming too long. Our new method involves having all of our members in a category.
To add yourself to the category just add the userbox to your user page by putting {{Wiki Auto Project}} where you want the userbox. Alternatively if you don't like the userbox you can add [[Category:WikiProject Automobiles members|Boivie]] to your userpage.
If you no longer wish to be a member of the project, simply don't add the userbox or category, there's no pressure. Thanks for your time, James086Talk | Contribs 04:57, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Hyundai Pony 2.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Hyundai Pony 2.gif. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Angr 16:53, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] re:Portal:Cars/Selected article
No, thankyou. I have been working on this article for some time now and I'm just starting to get positive feedback (like the article being accepted as a selected article). Hope to see you round. James086Talk | Contribs 14:11, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Licencing of location maps for European countries
Hi. You are one of many editors having expressed a concern about the licence for David Liuzzo's maps. He already changed this for the European countries without EU-highlighting, see Commons - Template:Europe location. The creator promised to do so as well for their version with EU-highlighting, and nothing will go on as long as this may not have been taken care of. Meanwhile, in case you like to inspect the presently modified licence and wish to comment on it, please do so in the subsection Comments on the February 2007 new licence for David Liuzzo maps. Kind regards. — SomeHuman 3 Feb 2007 17:16 (UTC)
[edit] Location Maps
On the WikiProject Countries talk page, you had either explictly declared a general interest in the project, or had participated at a discussion that appears related to Location Maps for European countries.
New maps had been created by David Liuzzo, and are available for the countries of the European continent, and for countries of the European Union exist in two versions. From November 16, 2006 till January 31, 2007, a poll had tried to find a consensus for usage of 'old' or of which and where 'new' version maps. At its closing, 25 people had spoken in favor of either of the two presented usages of new versions but neither version had reached a consensus (12 and 13), and 18 had preferred old maps.
As this outcome cannot justify reverting of new maps that had become used for some countries, seconds before February 5, 2007 a survey started that will be closed at February 20, 2007 23:59:59. It should establish whether the new style maps may be applied as soon as some might become available for countries outside the European continent (or such to depend on future discussions), and also which new version should be applied for which countries.
Please note that since January 1, 2007 all new maps became updated by David Liuzzo (including a world locator, enlarged cut-out for small countries) and as of February 4, 2007 the restricted licence that had jeopardized their availability on Wikimedia Commons, became more free. The subsections on the talk page that had shown David Liuzzo's original maps, now show his most recent design.
Please read the discussion (also in other sections α, β, γ, δ, ε, ζ, η, θ) and in particular the arguments offered by the forementioned poll, while realizing some comments to have been made prior to updating the maps, and all prior to modifying the licences, before carefully reading the presentation of the currently open survey. You are invited to only then finally make up your mind and vote for only one option.
There mustnot be 'oppose' votes; if none of the options would be appreciated, you could vote for the option you might with some effort find least difficult to live with - rather like elections only allowing to vote for one of several candidates. Obviously, you are most welcome to leave a brief argumentation with your vote. Kind regards. — SomeHuman 7 Feb 2007 20:04 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Sinupret IceTigers logo.xcf)
Thanks for uploading Image:Sinupret IceTigers logo.xcf. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:18, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
