Bohemia Suburbana is a Guatemalan rock band formed in the year 1992. Current members are peruvian musician Álvaro Rodríguez (guitar), colombian musicians Alejandro Duque (drums), Juan Luis Piolly Lopera (Bass) and guatemalan Rudy Bethancourt (guitar/keyboard) and Giovanni Pinzón (vocals). They have played in different parts of the US like New York, New Jersey, Dallas, Los Angeles and Puerto Rico also have played in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras. Have shared stages with important musicians like Juanes, Joaquín Sabina, Los Héroes del Silencio, Jaguares, Rata Blanca, King Changó, Café Tacuba, Desorden Público, Fito Páez, Charly Garcia, Aterciopelados.
All band members have solo projects Giovanni Pinzón is recording a solo album, Rudy Bethancourt producer for the singer Tuco Cárdenas, Álvaro Rodríguez running Colectivo Pata de Conejo, Alejandro Duque has collaborated with colombian musicians and Juan Luis Piolly Lopera produces and plays with singer Natasha.
