Bogon

Bogon can be:-
- A humorously supposed elementary particle, being a quantum of bogusness: see Quantum bogodynamics.
- An IP packet on the Internet that claims to be from an unallocated area of the IP address space: see Bogon filtering.
- The name of a small island, part of the Eniwetok atoll in the South Pacific, which housed an unmanned radiation detector station during the Ivy Mike hydrogen bomb test of 1952.
- An element used in an HTML document but not actually allowed by the HTML specification or recognized as a proprietary extension by any browsers. See Tag soup.
- A misspelling for the Bogong moth, which suddenly appears in vast numbers then disappears just as quickly.
