Bogna Koreng

Bogna Koreng (Sorbian: Bogna Korjenkowa) (born 1965, Radibor) is a television presenter from the Sorbian region of Saxony, Germany.
Koreng grew up bilingual in Radibor (Sorbian: Radwor), north of Bautzen (Sorbian: Budyšin). After high school she studied German for two years before working as a teacher and choir director at the Sorbian General Secondary School (today's Sorbian Gymnasium) in Bautzen.
She began a career in television as a freelance reporter in 1992, and has presented the Sorbian-language television program Wuhladko since 2001. In 2003 she became a studio director.
In 2003, Wuhladko won third place in the International Festival of Radio and Television of Minorities, which had involved more than sixty ethnic groups across Europe. Bogna Koreng received the award in the Ukrainian city of Uzhhorod.
Today she lives with her family in Panschwitz-Kuckau.
