Boggudupalli is a small village of about seventy families in the Kadapa District of Andhra Pradesh, India. Its former name was Bokkudupalli, but no one knows how the name was changed. The village is about three kilometers from the Pulivendula.
Boggudupalli is the only village among the surrounding villages which has a good name. In this village most of the families are related to each other. The common names are Duggasani . The remaining people are called Bandi people by them.
The people from this village have a good heart and they can extend help to others. The village politically plays a very major role, even though it is so small with only seventy families, because people have a good rapport with politicians like Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Therefore it is a well developed village with the help of the Chief Minister and the Member of Parliament from the Kadapa.
In this village all the workers are farmers. The main crops are oranges, peanuts, dhaniya (a coriander seed) and sunflower seeds.
Water scarcity is a big problem as all the crops are rain dependent.
This village comes under Pulivendula constituency and is a part of Pulivendula municipality.
