Bogdan Khanenko

Bogdan Khanenko (Ukrainian: Богдан Ханенко) (1849-1917) was a Kiev born Ukrainian lawyer, sugar industrialist, and a collector of arts.
After marrying Nicholas Tereshchenko's daughter, Varvara, he built a Museum of Western and Oriental Art with his unique and private foreign art colleciton. After his death, the museum opened up to the public and was named after the couple.
