Boevaja Organizacija (Russian: Боевая Организация or the Fighting Organization ) - the terrorist branch within the Social Revolutionary Party of Russia. Boevaja Organizacija was a terror sub-group that was given autonomy under the Party, Boevaya Organisatsia (BO, or the Fighting Organization). It can be argued that whereas the NV (Narodnaya Volya) was more aligned with the educated Russian hierarchy, the BO appealed to a wider Russian audience. Within the revolutionary movement widespread dissent continued over the use of terror tactics, and with the emergence of the class struggle, terrorism as a weapon of the period became redundant.
