Abubakaar “Boebie” Solomons (born c. 1955 in Cape Town, Western Cape) is a South African football (soccer) coach who currently manages South African National First Division club Winners Park.

Solomons is one of South Africa's most promising and highly qualified young football coaches. A former Bidvest Wits, Santos and Maritzburg United coach, Solomons is one of the few footballing coaches in the country to have won winners medals for both the PSL league title (as assistant to Gordon Igesund at Santos) and the Mvela Golden League (as head coach with Bidvest Wits). He has also coached South Africa at Under 20 level. He has already made a massive impact on Bidvest Wits, leading the side to the Mvela Golden League title in his first season with the club.

In early 2007, he was shown the door by The Students after a string of poor results. He then joined Black Leopards as a technical advisor. In May 2007, he signed a five-year contract with the club to succeed German Hans-Dieter Schmidt as head coach of Lidoda Duvha.

He was however fired in early 2008 despite having signed a five-year contract at the start of the season. He subsequently joined Winners Park.
