[edit] libertarian v. monarchist
How the heck do you manage to be a libertarian and monarchist simultaneously? The two ideologies are as mutually exclusive in the civil liberties department as libertarianism and Communism are in the economics department. :p Rogue 9 06:55, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
I don't agree, providing the monarch is merely head of state and can exercise virtually no power. If duties are carried out with dignity as in the case of QE2 for over 50 years a monarch is surely better than having a politician as head of state, President Blair anyone? {Boddah 13:11, 23 December 2005 (UTC)}
As a figurehead, sure. But presuming that a monarchist thinks the monarch should actually wield supreme power by birthright is pretty much against the concept. In an unrelated note, the Members of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy category is up for deletion. As you're a member, I thought you might like to know. Rogue 9 07:57, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
I'm only a monarchist as far as preserving the monarchy we have in the UK at present. The definition of Monarchism seems to represent a spectrum of views. Thanks for the heads up on the VRWC. Boddah 15:46, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] time and date module
I have just copied your time and date thingy on to my User page ( hope you don't mind ) How can i change it away from GMT time and on to Western Australia Time. Best Wishes User:Silverhorse
Sorry I'm not sure, I only found it somewhere myself. My best guess would be to go to "my preferences" then "Date and time" and ensure your time zone is set up correctly. Hope this helps. Cheers Boddah 12:04, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Template:User:Scepia/bibliophile
Any particular reason you've reduced the image size? I quite like it larger but I'm wondering what you're rationale is... Thanks! Mikkerpikker ... 18:03, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
Sorry should have explained next to the amendment. I changed it because the left hand pane was bigger than almost all my other userboxes which made it look mis-aligned. No big deal but I couldn't stop myself correcting it :p Boddah 18:42, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

Hi, The Honourable is a style, not a title, and all styles are being removed from the headers of articles. Thanks Arniep 18:42, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging Image:UWE crest.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:UWE crest.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BRossow 18:48, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Crossing flags
Please do not cross flags on your user page. This may offend others and is even considered a crime in many countries. I am sure you are able to express your valuable opinion in a respectful way. Imagine someone crossed the flag of your country - also a union. ROGNNTUDJUU! 21:22, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
The EU is not a country but a manufactured political entity, if someone wants to cross the flag of my own country I say go for it. In any case who are you, the thought police? Boddah 12:22, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia_talk:Censorship
A revised version of the proposed policy against censorship is now open for voting. Will you kindly review the policy and make your opinions known? Thank you very much. Loom91 11:40, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Article listed for deletion
Hi Boddah,
I noticed from the Inclusionist category page that you're an inclusionist, too, so I was wondering if you would be able to do me a huge favor and possibly place a vote here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Embarazada. I added a ton to it. If you could, I would be greatly in your debt.
Best wishes,

[edit] Agents Wanted To Help Investigate The X-Files
Hello, I noticed your interest in X-Files. I'm a member of the [X-Files Wiki]. Our community is small and needs alot of work, unlike Star Trek, Star Wars and other over-populated Wikias we are crying out for content and help; not cutting, deleting and mercilessly re-editing. I wonder if you'd like to help?
We have alot of tidying and re-structuring to do on X-Files articles on regular Wikipedia also. If you'd like to discuss how you could help any further, give me a shout. Thanks!

[edit] "Fair use" images on your user page
Hi - I noticed that on your user page in your "PJ Harvey" userbox, you were using the image Image:Rid_of_Me.jpg. Under WP:FAIR, fair use images are only permitted in article space - not in user space. I have removed this image from your page. BigDT 01:42, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Andrewroberts.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Andrewroberts.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 11:56, 12 July 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 11:56, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Volapük
Hi Boddah. I've found your name via the m:Association of Inclusionist Wikipedians at Meta and thought that you might care about this discussion: m:Proposals for closing projects/Radical cleanup of Volapük Wikipedia. If you agree with us that deleting stubs is not the way to go for the Volapük Wikipedia, you could help us fight against this proposal with your vote. Thanks in advance! Smeira 02:02, 16 January 2008.
