This test is very useful for measuring airway resistance (RAW) more accurately than simple spirometry, and it's use is the standard of practice, according to the American Thoracic Society (USA). A photo of a plethysmograph (body box) would be quite valuable in conveying to the uninitiated reader, how useful the device is to diagnosis and treatment.
