[edit] Brahma Dharma Controversy
1. The "religion" claim is dubious and not notable. 2. There is already a religion called "Brahma Dharma" with a book of the same name, which is equally established all over Assam region and not limited to Bodo areas. Famous Assamese like Gunabhiram Barua etc. were members of this religion in 19th century. That Brahma Dharma book was written in 1848, published from 1850 onwards as verifiable from many Reliable Sources. Kindly address these issues, or else I shall either delete this article or redirect it. I also suggest that this article be renamed as "Brahma Dharma (Bodo)" to avoid confusion, and we can have a disambiguation page if necessary.Yvantanguy (talk) 12:17, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- subsequent research indicates that the Bodo Brahma Dharma is an offshoot of Brahmo Dharma. See Kalicharan Brahma's article now. Yvantanguy (talk) 04:46, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
