Bodenwerder is a municipality in Holzminden district, Lower Saxony, Germany. It is famous as the birthplace of Baron Münchhausen and Baron's museum and monument are notable places of attraction.
Bodenwerder is also the seat of the Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") Bodenwerder.
