Bodensatz is a weirdo-micro-label from Munich, Germany, founded in the year 2000 by Matthias Weinzierl, Christian Nothaft, Harry Streng and Sebastian Bayer.
Though "Bodensatz" is a collective of dozens of people producing music, theatre plays, radio plays, books, comics and clothes and organising concerts, most of the products are produced with the agreement of Matthias Weinzierl, the official founder of Bodensatz. Beside recordreleases from Nick McCarthy's former band Kamerakino and other Bodensatz-musicprojects like Gummo, KubeNothaft, Autozynik, Aehnliche Kuenstler, Wolf Biermann Explosion, Umaradum, Hektor und Rositha, Operativer Vorgang Melancholie, Fist In Face and Christian Nothaft there are also music compilations, t-shirts, a comic and an illustrated book about toilets at the world's most famous sights.
