Boca Raton Resort & Club
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Boca Raton Resort & Club, which opened February 6, 1926[1], is a luxury golf resort with a private nightclub in Boca Raton, Florida. Originally known as the Ritz-Carlton Cloister Inn, it was designed by architect Addison Mizner. Owners have included the Schine[2] family, owners of L.A.'s Ambassador Hotel, and the late Arthur Vining Davis, an aluminum tycoon and property developer.
In 1969, the Boca Raton Resort & Club Tower was completed, which stands 300 ft (91m) tall and has 28 floors.[1] The building is considerably taller than any other building in Boca Raton, and as such stands out prominently, but its famous "Boca pink" color has made it more famous than its stature.
It is owned by LXR Luxury Resorts, an affiliate of the Blackstone Group[3].
