What's holding me up

  • Conservation -- Three dumb paragraphs so far in an effort to make a complete article. Alot is already there from before me. Having framed conservation as I have, I'm looking for non-20th Century American perspectives of what it means to secure prosperity to our posterity. And I also am intent on representing both Wise-use and ecocentric extremes respectfully -- what are their apologetics? This is a research article and could last through May.
  • American Political Parties I've not contributed to that article, but since I've kind of adopted the United States Congress articles, I'm looking for information I can trust to give links to some of the oddball political affiliations listed.
  • U.S. Capitol I found a great resource [1] It reads like The Fountainhead. Better illustrations, though.
  • James River This is a back burner kind of thing for me. I got stuck on Buchanan, Virginia and still haven't put in an entry for James River and Kanawha Canal. It would be nice if some Wikipedians would adopt a river. There's a real gap there. I suppose one way to start is to list all the major basins (defined by USGS} in the List of United States Rivers. I'll make that a project of mine, but again back burner.
  • United States Civil War I've kind of agreed to prepare a reasonable, non-stub entry for [[Union(Civil War)]]. Something to link to as in Union General or Union Army. And to direct the links from those pages accordingly. It's a big, but necessary task. I might finally resort to cut and paste for this one.
