Bob Meyers is a musical composer, currently living in Allegany, New York. Being one of the founders of the Jazz-Classical style,[citation needed] he is a notable addition into the musical world.[dubious ]

[edit] Personal Details
Bob Meyers was born in December, 1979. His family, comprised of Melissa (mother), David (Father), and Michael (brother) lived in West Virginia, US at that time. He began playing piano on an old family keyboard at the age of 6. He also, at that time, was involved in sports such as baseball and soccer. In the summer after 1st grade, he moved to his current position in the Western part of New York. There, his piano playing continued. Unfortunately, there was no soccer for elementary age children, so music became one of his only strongholds. His sole instrument was piano until, in fourth grade, he adopted the flute into his musical capabilities. That Christmas, he received his first guitar.
Given this astounding start, Bob Meyers was ahead of most of his classmates musically. He often performed after chorus or during a pep rally. Later, in high school, he joined the chorus and performed his talents daily. Appreciated by his classmates, Bob Meyers was starting to become noticed by adults.
Today, Bob Meyers can play piano, flute, guitar, drums, harmonica, and is able to sing. He has a form of perfect pitch, known as relative pitch. He hopes to go to attend the Eastman School of Music for college.

The Allegany Airsoft Group[1], a group for young players of the Airsoft sport, was originally founded by Bob Meyers and other peers in ninth grade. A notable time in Bob Meyers' life, this group allowed him to get together with other members of his school with the same interests and learn how a group like this functions. With the founding of the AAG, he finally could get his band, "Ambiguous", to work together as a team. The AAG was a gold mine of knowledge during Bob Meyers' adolescent years.

Bob Meyers' first performances were recitals with the first teacher he had after moving to New York. Later, his showmanship began to appear at school talent shows. His skills also showed up at local cafe's and bars.
Notably, he has performed at the county talent shows in New York. Winning first place in his county for many years[citation needed], he has only performed at state level once, failing badly. This may be the reason why he has only competed at state level once. Now 29, he is just out of college, and is now unable to participate in amateur competitions.

Finishing a booklet of compositions at age 7,[dubious ] Bob Meyers has been composing for 7 years. Most of the songs that are written by him are for a solo pianist.

Recent compositions of Bob Meyers include his "Opus one", "Vlasova", and "My Story". His jazz classical songs began with "Vlasova".
