Bob DuPuy

Robert A. "Bob" DuPuy (born c. 1947) is a former attorney and the current President and Chief Operating Officer of Major League Baseball. He took both titles on March 7, 2002. Prior to joining Major League Baseball, he was a partner with Foley & Lardner, a large Milwaukee-based law firm.
Bob DuPuy received an A.B. from Dartmouth College in 1968, and a J.D. from Cornell Law School in 1973. At Cornell, he was the editor-in-chief of the Cornell Law Review.
DuPuy grew up in Branford, Conn. Prior to attending Dartmouth, DuPuy graduated from Notre Dame High School of West Haven in 1964. Where in 2008 he was bestowed with honor of becoming a Knight of Honor. The highest award the school gives out to there graduates.
