[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:B52 crash perspective.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:B52 crash perspective.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 01:33, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] ExifTool
Hey Boardhead. First, thanks for your amazing tool. Second, it's a policy here that things can't be copied word for word and I understand that now since I originally started the page. I plan on trying to submit the page again soon because it is a notable and important subject for many people's work flows. I've archived the original page here so that I can get it up to snuff before resubmitting. Obviously, if you have anything to add, please do so. Thanks. Roguegeek (talk) 17:55, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
- I've resubmitted the ExifTool article with some minor rewording. I could use help for more rewording if you ever find the time and, although it's quite apparent to anyone who's used it, maybe some reasons as to why it is notable for Wikipedia with reliable sources to back up claims. Thanks. Roguegeek (talk) 05:50, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

- The link should stick now. I've also added the article to Wikipedia:WikiProject Free Software so other editors can expand. Roguegeek (talk) 17:22, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
