Bo Sterby

Bo Sterby (born February 21, 1984) is a Canadian computer programmer and founder of the company Ego Software. Before founding Ego, Sterby worked as a software developer for a number of companies including Digital Rapids, Harris Corporation, and Qualcomm.

Sterby was born and raised in Brampton, Ontario. He began programming computers in seventh grade. Sterby attended North Park Secondary School and was a prominent member of the school's student council.

Bo Sterby graduated from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario with a degree in Software Engineering. While an undergraduate, he was a member of the Waterloo research team conducting pioneering research in the field of aerial robotics.
