Attention: We, Wikipedians, dislike fragmented discussions. If you leave a comment for me here, I will most likely respond to it on this same page–my talk page–as an effort to keep the entire conversation in one place. By the same token, if I leave a comment on your talk page, please respond to it there. Remember, we can use our watchlist to keep track of when responses are made. At the same time, feel free to send an alert to me on this page about a comment you have left elsewhere.

Thank you!

[edit] Bio Project question

My understanding is that the BLP banner has to be in place for any article that deals with living people. There are still living members of the Comets, so therefore the BLP banner must be in place for the Bill Haley & His Comets article. Is there a specific policy that says this is not allowed? If there is, we have a problem because there are potential BLP issues that could arise in this article. For now I am reverting the removal of the BLP banner pending further discussion. 23skidoo (talk) 00:30, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Good point, fine with me. BNutzer (talk) 00:39, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Template broken

Currently, this template adds superfluous brackets }} to the talk pages where it is used. In some cases, it also adds parts of the page title before that. BNutzer (talk) 14:47, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Fixed it. Thanks for the heads up. Absolon S. Kent (talk) 17:55, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Germany Invitation

Hello, BNutzer! I'd like to call your attention to the WikiProject Germany and the German-speaking Wikipedians' notice board. I hope their links, sub-projects and discussions are interesting and even helpful to you. If not, I hope that new ones will be.

--Zeitgespenst (talk) 23:13, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the invitation and the watch links. My focus of interest in my Wikipedia activities is currently different, yet I will keep a (watchlist) eye on them. BNutzer (talk) 14:17, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re:

Okay. I wasn't adding any WikiProject templates to my entries because I am not a member of any projects; I didn't feel comfortable using them from the outside. Chubbles (talk) 14:08, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Neville Whitehead (bassist)

Well, there's a start at an article... Bondegezou (talk) 18:01, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] WPBio tags

I was doing it for a while but stopped, because I wasn't really sure it was worthwhile. The tags are pretty much there for administrative purposes, and I began to think my time was better used elsewhere; I'm much more concerned with content than behind-the-scenes work. No disrespect to you, of course, but isn't there a way to automate this process? Chubbles (talk) 05:04, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Just a note - I went through my entire watchlist and tagged all the bio pages which were redlinks, except for the letters R, S, and T. So the rest of the alphabet should be less fruitful for untagged band/musician pages I've created. I don't know that I will finish the other letters; it's incredibly boring work, and my hat's off to you - I don't know how you keep it up! Chubbles (talk) 18:03, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the notice. I guess that for me it's a bit different: I am interested in music and musicians, and tagging lets me read quite a few others' articles about those. For you, it might be easiest to add the template right after creating an article to prevent having to tag many of your own articles at a time ... I am working thru your R, S and T. Regards, BNutzer (talk) 21:16, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
OK, R is totally done now. Chubbles (talk) 20:53, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
