This is just a short page to introduce myself. I am interested in history, particularly British and Australian history, with particular interest in events that are in some way close to my heart. I believe we, the current generation, have a responsiblity to maintain and add to the common body of knowledge available as historic records, so this information will be available to future generations. I believe only verifiable information should be included, otherwise the validity of the entire body of knowledge is diluted. I also believe that as time passes, much information is lost, unless that information is recorded and preserved in a common, freely available repository, such as Wikipedia.
I have written and updated a number of Wikipedia articles, and if you would like to leave a message for me, please do so below, and preferably leave an e-mail address for me to contact you, and I will endeavour to answer you as soon as practical.

Do you come from Llanllwch??
No, I live in Australia, but have been researching an article on Rhyd-y-gors and the Edwardes family who lived there, and I added a few bits to the Llanllwch article along the way, as they are remembered at St Marys Church, LLanllwch, on the wall monuments. I took the photo of the church in 2002, on a trip there to see the monuments. Regards BNShann
