First off, welcome! It's always nice to be the one to start a discussion page. I'm here to thank you for the image you added (the PowerMac G4). I'm not really all that active on Wikipedia these days but a thank you and thumbs-up never goes amiss. -- grm_wnr Esc 16:21, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for your warm welcome to Wiki.

Somewhat of a soothing balm after the Wiki community quickly deleted the page which I created, because I thought it was requested - it appeared on the Requested Articles Page!

[edit] Refs/Biblio

Good of you to put the stuff in but the standards need to be up a few steps if you dont mind

Name (date) title publisher ISBN

is the preferred format - although if you trawl through wikipedia you might find some variants - title, and date is clearly insufficient for the standards set by better eds.

oh and the nation review style/text is verging on non enyclopediac - perhaps true, but insufficient again for standards - specially when we have our great froeign mistiner (deliberate to avoid the oggle search) finding us a convenient falklands issue.

cheers and enjoy SatuSuro 00:35, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

In fact there is so much non-standard wikipedia style issues at Nation Review that we might need a longer chat. This is an online encylopedia not an online whimsical essay site. Unfortunately - I cannot think of a good alternative article to point out all the issues. Maybe later. SatuSuro 00:38, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

I am not sure if you understand the talk process on wikipedia - but ignoring messages - well its your call - I can think of a number of editors who would not be so lenient and would mercilessly chop a lot of your prose out as unencylopediac. If you do know how to use talk - would be a very good idea to get a handle on why your edits to nation review are not suitable and non-wikipedia standard however poetic it all might be SatuSuro 00:47, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Come on

I was trying to offer some suggestions to get around the issues of style - that does not justify a totally silent blanking of your edits - thats just a bit too precious. SatuSuro 00:54, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

lesson one - there is no need to put links beyond the first in an article. SatuSuro 01:06, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
