[edit] Rank
Are you sure Rank appears in the 1981 Tales of the GL corps annual? I do not remember it. Also Guy Gardner does not know it when he faces it in Green Lantern Corps #4-5. So I rewote it to state that Gardner faces it in the recent GLC (which you omitted). --Leocomix 12:18, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Soundwave (Transformers)
Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Soundwave (Transformers). Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 12:48, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Skunk fu!
there was no need for you to add a list of episodes to the main article, instead add any new episodes you find onto the List of Skunk Fu Episodes article--Lerdthenerd 19:18, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Sources needed
Every single one of those Amalgam entries needs a citation for its original source. In what comic did the character appear? If the character never appeared but was only mentioned, in what comic was that character first mentioned? Does the source clearly state which characters were merged? You've put in a lot of work, but without adding original source information, every bit of that material will wind up getting deleted. Doczilla 15:33, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- Please stop adding unsourced Amalgam characters to dozens, maybe hundreds of articles. There are too many bogus lists of supposed Amalgam characters to add any without citations for when they first appeared. You're creating an awful lot of work for other people who will either go through deleting every single thing you've gone to the trouble of adding or go through adding [citation needed] notations on everything. Doczilla 17:53, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
Please do not add content without citing reliable sources. You have repeatedly added Amalgam Comics character names to articles without citing sources so that readers can know for certain that these do not involve errors, assumptions, hoaxes, or fan fiction. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add each character's first appearance to each of the articles. Otherwise, please remove the entries from the articles. Thank you. Doczilla 02:52, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Whizzer. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. But please do not add any assertions about supposed Amalgam Comics characters without including a proper citation for each character's first appearance, and please remove all of the statements you have already inserted into so many articles. For all the casual reader knows, every one of them might be correct or every one of them might be a hoax. Doczilla 18:02, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
- FYI: In case you never checked the final discussion archived at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Comics/Archive_29, you should know that members of WikiProject Comics agreed that most Amalgam Comics characters listed as other/alternate versions of different characters' articles should be removed from the mainstream characters' articles. Reasons were various, including but not limited to these: (1) No matter how obvious it sometimes is as to which characters were merged, Wikipedia requires sources. We're not supposed to say which character consisted of which other characters without specific confirmation from the sources. (2) There's usually no source to indicate that the characters ever even appeared in any comic. We don't know which actually appeared, which were mentioned metafictionally, which are fan fiction, and which could be altogether bogus. (3) Rarely are they meaningful to the real character's history, which renders them trivia. Doczilla 08:08, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hey, where did you go?
How come you stopped adding in episodes to the Iggy Arbuckle page? There are only twenty-two currently mentioned; there's supposed to be twenty-six, and I can't remember the names of the others (well, actually, I wasn't even looking for the names; I was watching and waiting for Robear to make his appearance each time). Anyway, you also were able to identify their orders, because of the dates they aired on over in England. If you know the order of the other episodes, and their names, could you please go back to the page and include them? That would be much appreciated. (By the way, if you're wondering why the characters are back on the original page, it's because I got too emotional after User:Treelo removed most of the characters from the other page, and since I had asked for his assistance on that particular page, there wasn't much I could do about it. So I returned them to their original home, since I had not asked him for help there.) Thanks! Wilhelmina Will 02:35, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
Well, they haven't aired any further episodes in the UK from the ones I put up, so I can't put any more up 'till they air a new run. Bluecatcinema 11:01, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Please comment.
Your attention would be welcome at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Comics#Amalgam_Comics_entries_must_die because the discussion going on there very much concerns you and your contributions to Wikipedia. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Doczilla 19:46, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
- Re: "The Whiz" -- You had linked to the Whiz's article, which is good. Unfortunately, in neither the Whizzer nor the Whiz articles did you provide a source as to which characters merged to form the Whiz. Did Marvel vs. DC show them merge? Did he have the origin of one and the secret identity of the other? If so, say so, and provide citations from the comic book publications. Unfornately #2: The article on the Whiz is a mess of a stub, written as if he were a true historical figure, rendering it a bad source. Doczilla 16:47, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Consensus and Wikipedia
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I'm not sure if you have had the time to read all the links in your welcome notice, but you'll probably be aware that Wikipedia is a collaborative encyclopedia. This means we work together to build a general reference work, making decisions through editing and discussion to generate a consensus. As you will be aware, there is discussion regarding whether to have entries and information for all the possible Amalgam characters. What we are relying on in discussing this issue are our notability guidance on fictional works, our manual of style concerning writing on fiction, our policy on what Wikipedia is not as well as our policies on sourcing, summarising and maintaining a balance. So far the feeling at WikiProject Comics is that there is no need to discuss every single amalgam character. If you have a differing opinion, please express it at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Comics#Amalgam_Comics_entries_must_die, and engage in collaboration. On Wikipedia, discussion and collaboration are key, and we have behavioural policies and guidance which detail actions that may be seen as disruptive, which can lead to an editor being blocked. Anyway, happy editing, and I look forward to collaborating with you and discussing this and many other points. Steve block Talk 10:01, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for correcting the name!
Like the title says. I had looked, but I saw the name "Ansel" as "Aneel". It is hard to read small, white writing, especially in about three seconds, but I presumed that it was some central-European name. Thanks again for correcting it! Wilhelmina Will 19:02, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Generation Hex (comics)
Another editor has added the {{prod}}
template to the article Generation Hex (comics), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}}
template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. BJBot (talk) 15:00, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for adding the section on Cinder and Clinker! They are one of my favourite characters, so I can't believe I forgot about them! :) GreyWyvern (talk) 03:19, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
