I'm not sure the capacity figure is correct. 20,059 is the currently listed figure, but it also 'just happens' to be the figure from the very first crowd in the place (a Northern Eagles vs. Newcastle Knights match in 2000) when I've heard the capacity described elsewhere as 20,119 (see AuStadiums website [[1]]). I think the latter figure must be the right one, even if only because it's phenomenally unlikely that the first crowd was an exactly every seat filled sellout. Sellouts tend to be somewhat above or below capacity, owing to varying corporates' numbers, people not showing up etc.

Curiously, the Stadium's website shows the capacity figure as 20,059... Dibo 05:55, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
