The photo caption here says the statue is of Carr. The QEH article says it is just a bluecoat boy, which is what I had always thought. Meh, I was always told it was John Carr, but I forgot to change this a few months back after Kev Meredith asked the school about it. My bad. mattbuck 07:56, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
