This page contains original research which is banned on Wikipedia. Valid sources are needed to verify that a blue flag stands for capitalism, rather than assumptions and a discussion on some internet blog forum about capitalism which is hardly considered valid.--R-41 18:10, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

A quick Google around the web has made me pretty confident that no sources will ever surface. I'm reverting the article to its original form: a redirect to Blue flag beach. I find this whole quote to be taken far out of hand. The whole "red state/blue state" idea stems entirely from media coverage of the 2000 and 2004 presidential races. It was not the result of the "right wing" in the US accepting it as their color. Besides which, both the Democrat and Republican Parties in the US are openly capitalist. Both parties use red and blue abundantly (and also white) since those are the US national colors. Blue is almost never associated with those solidly on the "left", who are more likely to be associated with colors like red, black, or green. I don't have a solid source for this so I won't edit it myself though. (Note-Really, the only place I can think of that people can really associate the color "red" with capitalism is the so-called "Red China")--KobaVanDerLubbe (talk) 02:12, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Blue is for Socialism, Red is for Communism, and Green is for Capitalism.
I should point out to attention that since Capitalism is all about money and nothing else, the Green Flag would be the flag of Capitalism, and since Socialism is about distribution of wealth to the poor and religious values, the Blue Flag would be the flag of Socialism, and since Communism would be about atheism and state collectivization, the Red Flag would be the flag of the Communism, now wouldn't all of you agree? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexandergungnahov (talk • contribs) 11:26, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
