[edit] Publicity
This young man is destined for a career in the fishing circuit, dont be suprised to see this excellent reeler on the bass master classic in years to come.
Huh? Since when did Wikipedia become a substitute/surrogate for the publicity homepages of high schools?--SohanDsouza 04:23, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

- What's Wikipedia's policy on individual schools, anyway? Is there a notability requirement? I can't seem to find anything definitive, but maybe I just missed it. If there is a notability requirement, this page would be a candidate for deletion review. --Free-world 20:53, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] RE: deletion
I disagree, I feel that the actions of individuals should not be allowed to jeopardize the existance of the article. After all, isn't that what Wiki is all about? Arnyspizzashop 15:19, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

- I agree with you completely, but I am still wondering about the notability requirement. - Century0 01:32, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

- I don't know that Blue Mountain is any less notable than the other 147 high schools in Pennsylvania with articles, most of which are only stubs anyway. Arnyspizzashop 01:19, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

- The question is: is there a notability requirement for schools on Wikipedia? If so, then the review process decides if this article fits and whether to keep or delete it. If there is none, though, then I guess there's no process for deletion, and this article's safe. However, it should probably have a lock put on it if it keeps getting vandalized. --Free-world 02:56, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Comparison
I sure do not like to brag about MY school, but it would be nice if this article had something about how the rest of the US is faring in the SAT... --68.119.205.175 22:33, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
