This is hanging by the side of the road in Blue Ball. Anybody know how old it is, how it got there etcetera. (NO smart-ass trolling tyvm).
Was the ball relatively recently put up because of the name of the place or is the name related to the Ball? Is the Blue Ball pub the original source of the name or was it called after the place?
Any local browsing this must know! Get to it - expand the stub!!

Right. This is obviously not one of the more heavily trafficked sites on Wikipedia. Maybe I'll phone the local pub and ask for some gossip....(Sarah777 02:44, 17 June 2007 (UTC))
