Lt. Cmdr. John Saccomando, left, and Aviation Electronics Technician 1st Class Alex Goulart, both assigned to the U.S. Navy “Blue Angels” flight demonstration team, speak to students at Westmoor High School about their Navy careers and experiences. Saccomando and other members of the Blue Angels visited the school as part of San Francisco’s Fleet Week. The Navy Office of Community Outreach (NAVCO) coordinated the visit, which joints San Francisco Fleet Week and Navy Recruiting this year in supporting the effort to enhance recruiting and Navy awareness in Northern California. Fleet Week is a 5-day celebration is held annually to recognize the contributions and sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces.
