The bluespotted bamboo shark, Chiloscyllium caerulopunctatum, is a bamboo shark in the family Hemiscylliidae found around Madagascar, between latitudes 10° N and 26° S. Its length is up to 67 cm.
The bluespotted bambooshark was previously synonymized with the whitespotted bamboo shark, Chiloscyllium plagiosum but is now tentatively recognized as a valid separate species.
Coloration is light brown dorsally, paler ventrally, with blue-white spots.
Reproduction is oviparous.
