Bluesology was a 1960s English R&B group.
Set up in 1964 by Long John Baldry (vocals), it featured Reg Dwight (the future Elton John) on keyboards, Caleb Quaye on guitar, and saxophonist Elton Dean. The band backed touring American soul and R&B musicians such as The Isley Brothers, Major Lance, Doris Troy and Patti LaBelle and The Bluebelles. In 1966, it became Baldry's supporting band.
