Blue Valley Northwest High School (BVNW) is a high school in Overland Park, Kansas. It is part of the Blue Valley Unified School District.

- Christie Ambrosi, a member of the 2000 Olympic USA softball team, which won the gold medal.
- Zach Roberson, who won 4 state wrestling titles and 2 national championships while in high school, and another NCAA championship while at Iowa State.

- Twelve girls from BVNW were featured in the WE TV documentary "High School Confidential."
- BVNW's orchestra is top tier, receiving "1" (the best) rankings for every year the school has been open (except one). Students in the orchestra also have auditioned and represented the BVNW in local, state, and national orchestras.
- The school's literary magazine is called "The Muse."
- The school's yearbook is called "Horizon", the school broadcast news program is called "Husky Headlines", and the school's literary magazine is called "The Muse." The "Horizon" and "Husky Headlines" have been nominated for several Pacemaker awards. The school newspaper is called "The Express"; it is a member of the High School National Ad Network.
- Adjacent from the school's campus is the Blue Valley District Activity Center, which consists of a football field, a soccer field, a softball field, and a baseball field, which Blue Valley North High School also claims as their homefield.
- The school hosted the National Association of Student Councils (NASC) Conference in June 2007.
- Kathy Meert was named the 2005 Kansas Horizon award winner.
- The boys soccer team won the 6A State Championship in 2006
- The girls cross country team won the 6A State Championship in 2007, the most notable in the girls team is Laura Roxberg who has won the State Championship every year in her high school career.
- The BVNW Choir has received high honors in the Regional Contests
