Built in 1937, Blue Streak is a wooden roller coaster, and the only wooden coaster operating at at Conneaut Lake Park in Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania. Blue Streak follows the out and back design. It is the 6th oldest wooden roller coaster in the United States, and it is the only shallow coaster designed by Ed Vettel which is still in operation. Blue Streak underwent major renovations in 1997, and in 2002 its original 1937 trains were brought back to replace the silver trains used since the 1960s. It is an ACE Coaster Classic and Coaster Landmark.[1][2]
