Blue Ridge Railway Trail

The Blue Ridge Railway Trail is a rail trail in Virginia.

It is a 7-mile (11 km) gravel surface recreational trail used for biking, hiking and horseback riding and occupies an abandoned Virginia Blue Ridge Railway corridor.

The first 2 miles have been completed between Piney River, Virginia and Rose Mill, Virginia. There are parking lots at both ends of the trail. Parking for horse trailers is available at Piney River. The trail is open from sunrise to sunset. At this time there are no restroom facilities.

The trail is currently being extended 5 miles to Tye River, Virginia.
